From a previous career in academic political theory, Christopher Skeaff brings to his clinical work a longstanding fascination with freedom, power, and change.

“I was drawn to the way political theory treats big, important problems from a variety of conceptual and historical perspectives,” he says, “particularly the question of freedom — its meanings, manifestations, and conditions.”

Elka is committed to helping patients gain the tools to live better in this moment while also diving into the deeper roots of their distress. Her approach to therapy is informed by mindfulness, acceptance and commitment therapy, and internal family systems. She believes “the key to growth is in welcoming every aspect of yourself, your body, and your story.”

Specializing in treating eating disorders, depression, anxiety, and psychosis, she believes no one is defined by their dysfunction. “At the center of every person, there is something healthy, whole and beautiful.”

Luisa views psychotherapy as a cooperative relationship between the therapist and client, which supports and facilitates the client’s mental health and overall well-being.

She primarily works with young adults and adults, helping them adjust their thoughts, emotions and behaviors to lead a more intentional and balanced life.

“Establishing an effective therapeutic relationship centered on unconditional positive regard is foundational to my approach to therapy, which focuses on the unique and individualized needs of every client,” she says.

ISABELLE (“IZZY”) GRACE AMBRE (she/her)

Therapy Dog

Born on October 11, 2021, Isabelle, who goes by “Izzy,” was “hired” into the practice on January 24, 2022.

Izzy is a French Bulldog full of love for everyone. She specializes in being adorable but can turn into a mischievous little monster a few times a day! Her favorite place to sleep is on Mommy Denise’s lap.
